step one in designing your own earring is choosing your favorite
foundation piece.
first bloom is the very first of my foundation pieces I designed and was the beginning of my jewelry design journey. This earring is stunning on its own or use the loop to display your favorite pearl’s notes selection. This earring is approximately ¾ inch in length and about ¼ inch wide at its widest point on the front of the earring making it quite generous in coverage at the head of the earring. Sterling silver.
reminisce is identical on the front as first bloom but has a hook rather than a loop for placement of your pearl’s notes selections. daisy jane is such a dainty foundation piece. It is identical to the reminisce foundation piece in that it has a hook onto which pearl’s notes are linked but it is much smaller and delicate on the front. At about 3/16 inch at its widest point on the front of the earring, it has minimal coverage on the front and is 11/16 inch in length. Sterling silver.
music to my ears is a design all its own. As with first bloom, this one is just so stylish on its own but soars to another level when paired with your favorite pearl’s notes selections. Those spirals and all that silver…gorgeous! As with daisy jane and bronze foundation pieces, the head of the earring is smaller. At about 3/16 inch at its widest point on the front of the earring, it has minimal coverage on the front and is 11/16 inch in length. Sterling silver.
The newest addition to the foundation pieces family, bronze is identical to daisy jane except that it is cast in bronze. The bronze metal is striking and so fashion forward. It has a hook onto which pearl’s notes are linked and is smaller and more delicate on the front than first bloom and reminisce. At about 3/16 inch at its widest point on the front of the earring, it has minimal coverage on the front and is 11/16 inch in length.
Simply slide your pearl’s notes selection onto your first bloom foundation piece starting at the center end of the loop and slide it around the loop until it is in place as in the diagram.*
Simply slide your pearl’s notes selection onto your reminisce foundation piece starting at the open end of the hook until it is in place as in the diagram. To secure, gently pinch the open end to the hook to the back of earring until the opening is closed.*
Simply slide your pearl’s notes selection onto your foundation piece and gently pinch the open end to meet the back of the earring to close and secure the pearl’s notes. Should you wish to interchange your pearl’s notes selections, carefully re-open the foundation piece where it was secured only just enough to swap out your pearl’s notes. To avoid damage to the foundation piece, please open gently and just enough to remove one pearl’s notes and add another and then carefully secure again.*
Simply slide your pearl’s notes selection onto your music to my ears foundation piece starting at the open end of the spiral in the center and sliding it around the loops until it is in place as in the diagram.*
